Paper Copy Requirements for Electronic Filings of Rule 12, 56, and 702 motions

Please mail two courtesy paper copies of all motions and briefs filed pursuant to Federal Rules of Civil Procedure 12, 56, and/or 702 (excluding exhibits and attachments) along with any responses and replies to:

Submission of Proposed Orders

All motions require a proposed order that the parties must email to Mitchell_Orders@txnd.uscourts.gov in Word format (not PDF). The subject line of the email must include the case number and the document number of the referenced motion.

Requests for Extensions

The Court advises that it may not consider motions for extensions of time filed less than two business days before the deadline the party seeks to extend. If a party must request an extension within two business days of the deadline the party seeks to extend, please call chambers to inform the Court of that request: 214-753-2420.
