Chambers 1572 Renovation

The United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas is soliciting quotations from qualified contractors for the Chambers 1572 Renovation located at the Earle Cabell Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, 1100 Commerce Street, Dallas, Texas.

The project encompasses approximately 3,700 square feet and generally includes removal of existing wall covering; preparation and painting of interior walls; removal and replacement of existing carpet; installation of Government-furnished carpet tile and luxury vinyl tile; removal and reinstallation of existing wood base; installation of new rubber wall base; cleaning and restoration of existing restroom ceramic tile and grout; flooring preparation; installation of transitions and door stops; protection of existing finishes; final cleaning; and other incidental work required to provide a complete, move-in-ready installation.

A third-party contractor retained by the General Services Administration (GSA) will separately perform asbestos abatement of existing flooring in two offices identified in the Scope of Work.

Procurement Schedule

  • Pre-Bid Site Visit: Friday, August 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM Central Time
  • Deadline for Requests for Information (RFIs): August 26, 2026
  • Court Responses to RFIs: No later than August 28, 2026
  • Quotation Due Date: Friday, September 4, 2026, at 5:00 PM Central Time

The total Period of Performance is 56 calendar days following Notice to Proceed, consisting of an initial 21-calendar-day administrative, security clearance, submittal, and material-ordering period, followed by 35 calendar days for on-site construction activities.

Interested contractors are responsible for reviewing the complete solicitation package, including the Request for Quotation, Scope of Work, drawings, and any subsequently issued amendments or written responses to RFIs.

All questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer by the RFI deadline.

The Court reserves the right to reject any or all quotations, request clarification, cancel the solicitation when determined to be in the Government's interest, or make an award without further discussions.

This procurement is being advertised as an open market competitive acquisition. Submission of a quotation does not obligate the Court to make an award or reimburse a prospective contractor for costs incurred in preparing or submitting a quotation.
