What payment methods do you accept?

An ECF User may pay applicable document filing fees while docketing the document electronically via the integrated Pay.gov interface, which processes credit card payments. They may also present a check or money order (made payable to Clerk, US District Court) in person or by mail at any of our seven divisional offices. (Note: a non-prisoner pro se litigant must file a case initiating document in paper, so online payment is not available for the case filing fee.)
 
Requests for records, certifications, and name searches may be made and paid via credit card using the court’s Online Record Request Form. Requesters may also present checks and money orders (made payable to Clerk, US District Court) in person or by mail at any of our seven divisional offices. Credit card payments cannot be accepted over the telephone.
 
Criminal defendants may present money orders (made payable to Clerk, US District Court) to pay restitution, fines, and special assessments that were assessed in a judgment in person or by mail at any of our seven divisional offices. Credit card payments are not accepted for criminal debt.
