The Northern District of Texas is proud to offer its Electronic Notice System (ENS). ENS allows for the prompt distribution of orders and judgments via electronic mail to designated attorneys of record who complete an authorization form. There is no charge for this service.

In most instances, attorneys who agree to accept orders and judgments by electronic transmission will receive them within minutes of entry on the official court docket. The Clerk’s Office will receive notice immediately of electronic mail notices that are unable to be delivered. If the Clerk is unable to confirm receipt of an electronic notice, an alternate means of document notice will be arranged for with the attorney.

For more information about this exciting program, please read the Electronic Transmission of Notice Overview. To take advantage of this program, simply complete the consent form. You will receive an electronic mail notice from the Clerk’s Office confirming your authorization (approximately 72 hours after receipt).

For your convenience, the Electronic Notice Consent Form is available from this website. Please note there are two versions of the consent form; one is in PDF format which requires Adobe Reader 3.0 or higher and the other is in WordPerfect format.
