02/18/14 The Judicial Conference Advisory Committees on Bankruptcy and Civil Rules have proposed amendments to their respective rules and forms. The public comment period ends February 15, 2014.
02/14/14 Effective December 1, 2013, the fee for filing a Notice of Appeal will increase to $505.

02/14/14 Effective December 1, 2013, the fee for retrieving one box of records from the Federal Records Center increases to $64. For retrievals involving multiple boxes, the fee is $39 for each additional box.

  Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. has appointed Chief Judge Sidney A. Fitzwater to chair the United States Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Evidence Rules. Judge Fitzwater's three-year term as committee chair will begin October 1, 2010. He previously served for seven years as a member of the Judicial Conference Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure.
