Directions

The O.C. Fisher Federal Building and US Courthouse is located at 33 East Twohig Avenue and is across the street from the Historic Hotel Cactus.

If traveling . . .

From The North: U.S. 87 becomes Bryant Blvd. within the city limits (also named Abe St. in the downtown area). South on Bryant Blvd., then left on Twohig Avenue (going East) for five blocks.

From the East: U.S. 67 and U.S. 277: Take the South 67/277 San Angelo exit. Travel on Houston Harte frontage road. At first signal light, move into left lane and follow signs for South 67/277 Left Lane. At Oakes Street turn left and travel south six traffic signals.

From the South: U.S. 87 and U.S. 277 become Bryant Blvd. within the city limits (also named Koenigheim St. in the downtown area). Turn right on Twohig Avenue (going east) for four blocks.

From the West: U.S. 67 becomes Sherwood Way and merges into W. Beauregard. Travel east and turn right onto Oakes Street. Travel one block South.

Parking

Parking is limited to spaces available on the street. The spaces on Twohig Avenue are for up to 2 hours. Jurors should bring any tickets to the Court Security Officer or Clerk for forwarding to the U.S. Marshal to handle.

 

 

 

 

 

Attendance fee and Reimbursements

You are paid a $40.00 attendance fee for each day you report for your assigned jury duty. You may not be paid if you appear and request to be excused for reasons which were well known to you at the time you completed the pre-screening questionnaire. Federal government employees will not be paid the $40.00 attendance fee. Regardless of the type of transportation you use (e.g., personal automobile, bus, train), you will be given a travel allowance of the (current mileage rate) per mile round trip from your home to the Federal building US Post Office and Courthouse. You will receive your jury fee check within three to four weeks after your completion of service.
