Directions

The George H. Mahon Federal Building and US Courthouse is located at 1205 Texas Avenue between Broadway and 14th Street.

If Traveling . . .

North on I-27 - Take the 13th Street exit heading west and continue straight. The guest parking lot is on the Texas Avenue side of the building. Entry to this parking lot is at the southwest end of the lot on 14th Street only, at the corner of 14th Street and Texas Avenue. Exit is at the northwest end of the lot onto Texas Avenue.

South on I-27 - Take the 19th Street exit heading west, turn north onto Buddy Holly Avenue and continue north to 14th Street, then turn west to the entrance of the guest parking lot.

East or West on Broadway - Turn south onto Buddy Holly Avenue and continue south one block to 14th Street, then turn west to the entrance of the guest parking lot.

East or West on 19th Street - Turn north onto Buddy Holly Avenue and continue north to 14th Street, then turn west to the entrance of the guest parking lot.

Parking

A juror and visitor parking lot is located on the Texas Avenue side of the building. Space is limited, and juror parking is not reserved.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Attendance Fee and Reimbursements

You are paid a $40.00 attendance fee for each day you report for your assigned jury duty. You may not be paid if you appear and request to be excused for reasons which were well known to you at the time you completed the pre-screening questionnaire. Federal government employees will not be reimbursed the $40.00 attendance fee. Regardless of the type of transportation you use (e.g., personal automobile, bus, train), you will be given a travel allowance of the (current mileage rate) per mile round trip from your home to the Federal building US Post Office and Courthouse. You will receive your jury fee check within three to four weeks after your completion of service.
